Ever since purchasing my Kodak DC-210 digital camera, I've been taking snapshots of this or that. Now that I have over 1,000 pictures taken, I figure it's time to start organizing them. This is that start.

Pictures of the outside my new house. All taken about a week before I actually moved in. They're all really big and unlabeled right now. That will change.
It rained really hard on May 3rd, 1998. It was the first hard rain in my new house, so I took some pictures of all the water. The street I live on became a fast flowing river, and my back and front yards became mini-lakes.

Scott, Tyler, and I headed to visit all of the Michigan Prout contingent during this weekend. We had all sorts of fun. Check it out.
Evidence that everyone came to my place when Janet was in town to camp out in the Living Room.
There were two WWII bombers on display at the Findlay airport for the first week of June: a B-24 and a B-29. A co-worker and I stopped by to check them out and snap some pictures.
My parents recently got all new furniture and paint in their family room. The old furniture is in my new house. Have a look at the less than one day old furnishings.
I went to Dayton in July of 1998 for the annual Air Show. I stayed with Jer and Chris who had recently moved down there. We also visited Wright State University, which is where Jer worked at the time.
Here are all the pictures I took at the Air Show itself. Some came out well, while others really didn't. Such is life.
Scott Gaddis and I wandered out to Rhode Island to visit with Janet and Sean. While there we saw mansions, visited Boston (pictured separately), played at the beach, and more.
While in Rhode Island, Scott, Janet, Sean, and I spent a day in the Boston Area. We wandered through markets, visited Harvard, and lots more.
It seems to be the way life works. Friends move. I help. Mel and Anne moved from their separate apartments on the east side of Lansing to a single, large, cool-looking apartment on the west side.
I attended Micro$oft's Professional Developers Conference (for work) in Denver. While there, I spent part of the weekend in the mountains. Some of these pictures are of the Colorado Convention Center and/or downtown Denver, while others were shot in the mountains at various elevations. (Thanks to Jim & Karen Bewley for giving me a place to stay!)
This picture was taken while waiting in line to see Star Trek Insurrection (in Lansing, MI). The movie theater folks dressed for the occasion.

This pictures were taken while visiting my uncle Joe & aunt Dana's Place (in Virginia) during Xmas 1998 this was the first I had seen of their house since it began construction several years back.

I've adopted 2 kittens (Barnes and Noble) from Save A Pet. Here are some pictures from their first week or so in my house. They're so amusing.
Northwest Ohio was literally dumped on in early 1999. Here are a few shots of the snow outside my house (after shoveling my driveway). I have spent too much time with a snow shovel in my hands lately. *shudder*
The kittens (see above) are getting big very quickly. I managed to catch a few action shots of them this morning (3/27/1999) so here's what I've got.

My sister April graduated from Bowling Green State University. This is the only picture I was able to take. The weather was crappy outside, so there were no others.
I traveled to Rhode Island again. This time it was for Janet's graduation from the University of Rhode Island. She got her Psychology M.A. We also wandered around near the shoreline and did the usual Rhode Island stuff. I also got many pictures of her new kitten: Ted Wookie (aka, Kitty Woo).

I went camping with Kacky, Janet, and Sean. On our first day we visited a few sights in New Hampshire.
On day two we had the fun of going up Mt. Washington in the fog/clouds. But we got some cool pictures along the way and had a good time.
On our last day we wandered the Lost River Valley, crawled through small caves, and so on.
I bought a car to replace my leased 1997 Honda Civic EX.
I spent about a week and a half in the Denver area (for work) during late September of 1999. While there, I spent part of the weekend in the mountains. Most of these pictures are of that little weekend outing, much of which was in Rocky Mountain National Park. Others are of the Company's offices in Littleton.

I snapped a few pictures at Camp Yahoo 2000 (otherwise known as our company picnic). There were dunk tanks, human darts, food, drinks, and lots of other fun stuff. No captions yet, sorry.
These are pictures that I took while in Rhode Island for Janet's wedding (Friday, September 29, 2000). Some of them are from the morning of the wedding when I went for a walk along the ocean, then there are some wedding related short, then some that are just scenic stuff near where Janet and Sean live, and finally many are from the Prout trip to Newport the day after the wedding.
These are pictures that I took while in Rhode Island for Janet's wedding (Friday, September 29, 2000). These were all taken the day after (Saturday) when most of the Prout folks wandered up to Newport for a day a wandering along the cliff walk and other antics.
Keith Myers of Goon Squad fame was in the area for training. So we wandered around the Bay Area a bit, hitting San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Half Moon Bay, Apple Headquarters, and other stuff.

On Saturday, September 1st, 2001 I went hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park (California) with Ray, Mark, David, and David's girlfriend. Things didn't completely go according to plan, but it was an ejoyable day.
