This is too funny...

It's the first "love spam" I've ever seen (at least that made it past the Gmail spam filter). Viewing the original headers revealed that it came from a web hosting provider, not a Hotmail account.

But it made me laugh, and it's been a long time since spam did that.

Hello, I just randomly wandered by your blog. Wouldn't it be so tragic if that email's really from some heartsick, lovelorn coworker! Maybe she's disguised her true email address out of shame for her scandalous, forbidden passion. And what will she say when she sees your rebuke here? "That's what I get for loving a blogger," perhaps. The heart is so complicated. Or something.

Wow. Hotmail publishes SPF/SenderID records -- how can Gmail not be checking those?

That is where spamers are going wrong. Instead of trying to sell you viagra with 100 crap emails if they send you a couple a day each with a different joke in them. I could see that working.

I'm guessing the only reason you OPENED this email is because of Gmail's "preview" feature, which allows you to read some of the BODY of the email, while in the "Inbox" view. Otherwise, I can't see why you would bother opening an email sent from someone named 'Britney2k.'

Never-the-less, very funny, indeed. Maybe spammers are taking a different approach - instead of all the sexual connotations - maybe they are trying for "true feelings" - love, etc. It's so stupid, it's funny.

Craig-
Hotmail's SPF record (with its 1M (!) IPs) does not indicate that hotmail messages should only come from those IPs (and rightly so, otherwise hotmail users couldn't email to anyone that forwards their email). Just b/c a message *soft*fails a SPF check doesn't meam it's spam; similarly, a message passing a SPF check doesn't mean it's not spam.

Watch out for the cute girls next cabin.. Its easy for them to fall for a pilot and a celebrity blogger.

Its doesn't hurt you. Its time for you to check all the cabins nearby

Warning _ FRANKS STOCKTAKE SALE _ do not buy anything from those parasites

I bought Sonyericsson W800i from FRANKS STOCKTAKE SALE - do not repeate my mistake

On the second day I noticed problem with the camera - autofocus did not work , later the same day problem with MP3 player - it was stopping for no reason .
After 4 days the phone stopped recognizing memory card , attempts to reset it caused it to stop recognizing SIM card as well .
- when I tried to listen in the car to few mp3 files all I got was message “ playback failed “
Later when I had more time I started checking for my files and I could not find them
- when I opened camera to check if it works message “ no memory card “
- pulling memory card and reinserting it did not help to recognize memory card
- power phone off and on again did not help
- pulling the SIM card ( with power OFF ) and reinserting caused it not to recognize SIM card
message “ no SIM card “

How often do you want to do " master reset " and loose everything you had in memory ?

Now I am in a legal battle with bastards from FRANKS STOCKTAKE SALE to get money back .

I am a very lonely person who loves to receive e-mail but I am not on any lists.

How can I get on some spam lists so that I don't feel quite so alone anymore?
