More good talks, good food, good drinks, and good people. Lots of fun. I don't have time to write up much more at the moment, but I've updated the pictures with the latest.
Tomorrow (Saturday) morning, some folks are heading to the Tokyo Auto Show, some to the fish market, and a few of us go to Akihabara to go gadget shopping.
Guess which group I'm in... :-)
Useful stuff:
- Tokyo Metro Network
- Subway Map (flash required)
That's all for now. Oh, here's a picture of my last post form the Zaurus. How cool is that?
On Sunday we fly to Korea and will be staying at The Oakwood. Then on Tuesday we head to Taiwan.

Well, assuming there would be another time during the trip to get to akihabara I would hit the auto show. If it were my only chance for akihabara I would be in akihabara.
Oh, and the reason I would go motorshow is to look at stuff like this: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2003-10/23/content_1139531.htm
I'd totally recommend hitting the auto show, too. Tokyo has one of the better auto shows in the world. Only if you can find another time for Akihabara, of course.
that subway map is what a great rapid transit system should look like! holy shit...i wish Cleveland's looked half that good...then i wouldn't have to drive to work...
I stayed at the Oakwood in Manilla. It's a good hotel chain.

Half a block up from Oakwood in Seoul is the Coex Intercontinental, where $25 buys you the finest buffet breakfast I've ever had. Don't confuse with the Grand Intercontinental half a block the other way -- where waiters will sing arias to you in the Italian restaurant.
