I emailed you a couple weeks ago regarding our site and was wondering if you had time to get to it. I see your link to finance.yahoo.com on your page http://jeremy.zawodny.com/ and am wondering if my site, www.StockMarketYellowPages.com , would also be useful to your visitors. It allows you to search for public companies based upon their descriptions. If you want to link to us you can place your site in our directory. You also can put our search on your site and make it look as if people are still on your site.
I won’t bother you again if you don’t get back to me. Please email me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Dan
Sorry, Dan.

The funny thing is you did put the url of his site on your blog after all.
Yes. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who did check his site out, just out of curiosity. :)

I get these things all the time, seems that some guys crawl the web and automatically send these things out to anyone they can identify as a webmaster with a relevant site to theirs (or even a relevant link), I get at least one a month and ignore every one of them.
i just dont get these guys if they just make comment on the site and enter their url in the form it will listed anyway.
Andre: Yes, but I didn't link to it. That's an important difference.
Those emails normally get the ESC-d (categorize as spam and delete hotkey in mutt) treatment from me.
