Based on this page and this story, YHOO is driving the Nasdaq up. YHOO itself is up over 20% right now.

So there. :-)

My mutual funds thank you. It's good news for all. Yahoo! has been one of my favorite websites for the last several years. I've always liked the clean, simple (not complex), fast interfaces of Yahoo! sites.

I'm not sure what others believe, but I would agree to paying for a Yahoo! e-mail account. The end of free is upon us, and if paying for a "my.yahoo" account keeps Yahoo! going, then I'm all for it. I like the new e-mail interface, BTW.

The BGSU Falcons football team is doing well. I'm a season ticket holder for the Toledo Rockets, but I was at the massacre in BG last year when the Falcons shredded UT. It's a killer to look ahead, especially when UT is playing Ball State this weekend, but the last day of November should be a good one for northwest Ohio football fans.

I'm actually an Ohio Univeristy graduate, and I'm not going to mention what BG did to the Bobcats last weekend.

Keep up the good work. I enjoy reading your tutorials about MySQL and look forward to your book. I'm one of those crazy cats who still enjoys programming in Perl, although from reading your blog, I see you are not. I plan to try out your DBIx::DWIW module.
