hack day t-shirt Things are crazy in YDN (Yahoo! Developer Network) Central on the 2nd floor of building B this week. Really crazy.

We're all juggling about 1,000 balls each to get ready for Hack Day.

Given that I should be writing docs, looking at some code, making maps, updating a wiki, and tending to a photocopier that's spitting out YUI docs, I'll keep this short:

  • The schedule is online as part of the Hack Day Blog
  • Keep an eye on the YDN Blog too. We've got a few more things to launch before Friday. :-)
  • If you're looking at the Friday workshop/session schedule and aren't sure what to see, I highly recommend either Andy Baio's talk on Virtual Communities or Ryan Kennedy's talk on the Y! Mail API
  • Have you ever seen an Internet enabled copier? One that can use Yahoo! APIs to print you a color map showing traffic when you punch in your zip code? You will.
  • Mike Arrington was right. The Friday night entertainment will rock. It will be historic.
  • The prizes are pretty cool. And they're sitting right next to my cube at work, teasing all of us.
  • We've assimilated Matt McAlister!

That is all. I have way to much stuff to do before Friday...

Update: Oh, we have some goodies appearing now. :-)

I'm bummed that Andy's talk is at the same time as mine, both because I wanted to see he talk and because I know he'll be poaching people from my talk. :)

Maybe we should simulcast each other's talks, picture-in-picture style. (Oh, and thanks Jeremy. You're making me blush.)

I submitted my address to participate in hack day, but still no invite. How do I get an invite, do I have to 'know' someone who works at Yahoo!
