I play with Perl a lot. You'll often catch me posting message to comp.lang.perl.misc in an effort to answer questions there. I am also in the process of developing a few Perl modules that might be of use to someone [other than me].

Geo::METAR

A Perl module for retrieving and parsing aviation weather reports (METARs).

Net::CDDB

A Perl modules for querying Internet CDDB databases using the CDDB protocol.
