After watching this video, I'll never be ashamed to do a "go around" on a questionable croswind landing appraoch.
Heh.

I like this one too - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fjW6yK1eho
Not bad, check this one from Wellington, New Zeealand

I've done a few at Wellington like that, I believe it's rated the worst commercial airport in the world for wind, if not one of the worst, it's an aweful location, the old 737's were rough, the new ones & A320's are alot smoother :). To be avoided in a small plane though.
The worst I've been a passenger on was finally getting down on the 3rd attempt, that was Invercargill ( New Zealand ) & it was windy !, it felt like your last one looked Jeremy :).

The people in that first plane had to be queasy as they stepped off of the plane.
Jeremy, you *have* to see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rMageU9lng.
Shocking.
Brad:
Ouch. Looks like it could have been a PIO (pilot induced oscilation).
Not fun at all.
Been there, done that... not in nearly as large a plane, though. Try Los Banos sometime when the wind is going. I made what seemed to be a horrible landing there with some friends who all started talking about walking home. Then a Cub came along, pretty much sideways, touched down... and ground looped, into a cloud of dust. "Good landing, Nick," was the next thing I heard, as we waiting to see if the Cub would reappear with the wheels pointed down. It did.
Taking off in that kind of crosswind at Los Banos is kinda scary, too. If you don't crab into the wind right away, the telephone poles and power lines start coming at you incredibly fast.
Much cooler is what a Boeing can actually do ...

As long as you've got fuel and an engine, go-arounds are A-OK, regardless of who's watching.
