It's that time of year again. I'm due for my annual dose of Midwestern winter weather (windy, cold, snow), family, friends, and food. And given that I waited until a few weeks ago to buy tickets, I'm headed to Ohio via Houston.
Oh well, at least the flight gets broken up a bit this way.
I'll be in the Cleveland area on Thursday, head to Toledo on Friday, then back to Cleveland for Sunday. And the following Wednesday I'll be in Columbus for the day, then back to Cleveland on Thursday for my flight back to San Jose via Houston again.
Whee...
If you're also traveling for the holidays, relax and take it easy.

I'm going from Germany to Lithuania for the Holidays... It takes 24 Hours to get on the train there (was too late for a cheap flight)... and another 24 Hours to get back... It's not really relaxing... ;)
I live in Cleveland. Have a great time while you're in the Buckeye State. There is snow on the ground, but the weather shouldn't be too bad, at least by C-town standards.
Go Browns!
LOL. I'm on my way out to Dayton on Friday. I feel your pain on that midwestern weather.
Of course, it's not like it's a balmy 72 degrees here in DC either...
Hope you are stopping to see Brandt and Candy. Take some pics of the baby for us. Ping Keith and see if they will be there thursday, you could swing by and see them, too.
And if you do venture down to BG to check out the changes to campus, remmebr to bring gloves AND headgear (painful mistake of mine during thanksgiving).
As for me, I'll be suffering in 60 degree sunny weather. *sigh*
Merry Christmas to you Jeremy.
Christmas in the midwest is great, cuz if you get bored you can just stand outside for a minute and cryogenically freeze yourself for later thawing.
I so feel your pain- but we had a little bit of what I like to think of as a Christmas Miracle.... we had a bit of a crisis getting the kids tickets this year....long drama, but when are they not?!!! Anyway, the cheapest flights we could find were $1200 with stops in crazy places, the times were all wrong....we were just about to close our eyes and just swipe the card.....when out of nowhere, a non-stop flight came up for under $200 dollars! Woohoo! I love that story!
Have a happy and healthy holiday, may your travels be uneventful!
