Earlier I mentioned that I wished YahooFeedSeeker was more like Bloglines bot in that it should report subscriber counts back to publishers.
It already does that!
Here's a bit from my access log, slightly reformatted:
66.218.65.52 - - [23/Mar/2004:08:13:30 -0800] "GET /blog/rss2.xml HTTP/1.0" 304 - "-" "YahooFeedSeeker/1.0 (compatible; Mozilla 4.0; MSIE 5.5; http://my.yahoo.com/s/publishers.html; users 236; views 36994)"
Cool.
It had been a while since I looked and I didn't remember seeing a mention of this at work--which isn't to say nobody mentioned it.
Thanks to Rick for pointing this out in my comments.

Yeah, but for us poor people who use LiveJournal.com for blogging, it isn't much use, is it? That's what I like about Bloglines. It just works.
BTW, the stats are for last 30 days and track usage, not subs.
Thats cool. is there a way to find out who are those subscribed users?

I have examined my log files and on the line for Yahoo Feed Seeker there is nothing after ....Publishers.html. Has something changed since your entry? Do I just not have enough readers?
I went back and reviewed my entire access log for November and still do not see any subscriber information on any line for YahooFeedSeeker? I must be missing something?
