The final schedule for Linux Bangalore/2003 is now online. As noted earlier, I'm delivering two talks on Wednesday, December 3rd: MySQL Optimization and Scaling Tips at 10:00am and MySQL New Features at 12:00pm.
If you're there, drop by and introduce yourself! It's not every day I get to meet weblog readers from half way around the world. Well, it happened in Japan a few weeks ago, but still... :-)

I dunno if anybody has warned you about the indian number systems, but I figure I should if not... since somebody warned me before my trip to india.
It is VERY common in India to refer to "lakh" and "crore" which really don't exist in our standard english numbering system. They also seperate numbers differently, like so:
10,00,00,000 = 10 crore = 100,000,000
50,00,000 = 50 lakh = 5,000,000
1 lakh = 100,000
1 crore = 10,000,000
The following pages might be useful:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakh
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crore
Knowing those two before you get to India will really seriously surprise a lot of Indian fellows. :)
Jeremy Cole,
I am really not sure how knowledge of Lakh and Crore will help him during his travel!
Anyways,
Jeremy I should catch you there because I would be there on 3rd Dec to attend PHP/MySQL sessions! :)

Nice to see the schedules changed. I'm no longer competing with you and Miguel for an audience.
Kiran:
Me too! Who wants to compete with Miguel anyway? Not me.
Sanjay:
I don't know, really. I let the guys in Yahoo! India handle the travel arrangements. Either way, it's a long-ass trip to get there and back. I hope the food is good. :-)
Hi Jeremy,
You should check out my pictures from my visit to India. :) Most of the pictures there are from Hyderabad...
Unfortunately, I still am competing with Miguel :( .. however, I get to come to your talk. See you then.
Oh, and most of my pictures are from India too:
Jeremy,
Any chance you will be posting your presentation?
