Damn. I get to San Jose airport at 9:30am for my 12:15pm flight to Tokyo. I'm thru security and checked in at 10am. But there's no WiFi signal down here near gates A1-A, A1-B, and A1-c.
Oh, well. I'll just post this really late.
I don't have a seat on the plan either. They oversold business class so I have to wait for a ticket/gate agent to see if they can either bump me up or knock me down.
On the plus side, there's nobody here yet, so I had no trouble getting a seat near power.
Update: Oh, the ticket agent showed up way early. I now have seat 14H (isle). Excellent.

Isle seats rock, at least in the class the regular people like me can afford. :)
I take a possibility to stretch my legs out to the isle any day over a possibility to look at clouds for N hours.
American do that to people that are very early. Seats allocated at the gate. I paid £1200 for cattle class return to Chicago and got there 4 hours early (with an Indian friend who had the 3rd degree done on his bags). In the end I just went mentle at the desk staff in by best queens English and they took me to one side and said that they would eject at AA employee so that I could fly. So I got to my seat and there was an old geezer in it. A quick 'your in my seat' battle later and he found out he'd been bumped to first. (bummer).
Isle seat with the big fat american over the wind door wasn't too bad though. But I really with the stewardess has asked me for my help in an emergency before I took the sleeping tablet :D
Have a great sleep/trip!
Chris
I'm just thinking of somewhere I can to try out Wifi in an airport. Sad I know but I've just got the Wifi bug after finally getting my laptop online.
