Well, well, well. It seems that another company has begun trying to recruit people from one of our business units as they begin trying to staff up their own.
It's really too bad that I didn't know this before responding to the recruiter who contacted me. I could have had a lot more fun.
Apparently the games that rivals played in high school continue right on into the "professional" world.

High school? What, were you in a freaking gang or something?
If you're speaking metaphorically, how is this immature as opposed to competitive? Is it any different than a pro sports team signing a free agent?
Z went to a private school known for recruiting players away from public schools for it's football and basketball teams. And there was even some stealing of players from other private schools. Perhaps that is what he is referring to.
