I
just realized that it's getting really warm in the apartment. Guess
what. It's 91 degrees outside according to
the Weather Underground. The cats are all stretched out on the
floor for their 6-hour long afternoon nap. They look pretty warm
too.
Perhaps I haven't selected the optimal time to stay at home and work on the book. There's air conditioning at work that usually works--except for a few days last week.
Let's just hope it cools off before July gets here.
Okay, enough distraction. Back to chapter 2.

Well, provided it stays dry, you could get a portable swamp cooler
i don't understand why most houses in california don't have AC. I remember a heat wave back in 2001 which forced me to buy an AC for my home in a hurry.. it was just a crime to have the cat and my wife exposed to such extreme conditions
Get it right Jeremy!
Air conditioned cafe w/laptop when the Sun is out.
Home with windows open at night.
(the Bay Area did feel humid yesterday - thought I was in Florida for a moment)
