I just had one of those Twilight Zone meetings earlier today. I walked into the meeting with some vague expectations about the content and outcome. But when I left the meeting an hour and a half later, I realized that the outcome was almost the opposite of what I expected. And I wasn't the only one who felt this way (to a degree).

Heh. The best part is that the outcome was much better than I expected.

Yeah, I have those sort of meetings from time to time as well, except that they feature a fortune telling napkin dispenser, a creature just outside the window taking apart the building and a gooey who seems to be able to make frightening things just happen by thinking about them.

There are also the meetings where you go in expecting to be assigned a whole heap of work to do, and come out actually being required to do nothing (or, perhaps, 15 mins work)!

Or assigned to do something that you completed last week.
