So we've been having major server problems all day. And, of course, it hit them all at once. Ugh. What a freaking mess.

House prices are rising because people who took their money out of the stock market need to invest it somehow, so they buy second homes. The demand is driving the sale prices up.

The rents are falling because all those second homes are often rented out to cover or help with the mortgage payments. Supply is driving rent prices down.
