I Wasn’t Prepared to Scale
		• Adding new MySQL servers was time- consuming • Manual effort, not packaged up • Wrote scripts to automate parts of it • Replication catch-up was very slow – Simply couldn’t afford to snapshot existing servers – I literally fell asleep waiting around 5:00am
